Hi all,
It occured to me that some peeps still are not writing code for CD
users to input their name into the hiscore table with a joystick!
Let's say your demo of your latest game is on a CU or AF CD and the
user is a proud CD ownner and your game requires them to input their
name vai the keyboard only!!!
They're phukked!
Same applies to the QUIT mode of your game. Don't just tell them to
press Q on the keyboard!
Why not make use of the CD Joypad routine? I think MUSH may have
this lying around, if not I do and it works 100%.
I've tested it with my Competition Pro CD pad and it works like a
dream.
For those of you who don't have a CD pad and don't know where to get
one, look at Amiga Format Issue 103 on page 55.
GoldenImage (UK) Ltd sell them for 14.00 - a bargain. Don't know if
it's Compitition Pro or original CD pad though! Still, it's the only
ad I've seen in a long time which mentions the cd pad.
